If you're wondering how my Valentine's Day went today, well it was spent alone. Haha I'm envious of you guys who had received presents on this day, but this was how I spent my Valentine's Day for the past 19 years. Came across this wonderful song by Cascada today. It wasn't their usual techno dance mixes but a soothing, somewhat Disney like song. Here's the video: So to commemorate today, here's a poem I penned: I'm sitting here all alone In mind thinking of what could have been A fantasy come true Was I the worst chess player Had my moves planned out and took every chance Yet it wasn't a checkmate Now its all coming back Its coming like the waves in a vast ocean Unpredictable, uncontrollable Yet it is also a feather So soft and so fragile that it can break anytime I want to hold tight but yet I can't Looking around I see People mesmerised in their own duets Singing in tune of Valentine And I sing a solo for closure
